PUMPS series HPS
Special pumps designed and studies for the
conveyin of highly abrasive mixtures from discharge pits of
saw-mills, workshops,
factories of tiles, etc and from tanks/pits for the working
of inerts.
This type of pump is not self-priming and rherefore the functioning
must happen under the head of the liquid.
Horizontal axis with bearings designed as to allow the front
part of the shaft to work overhang without mountings submerged
into the liquid. The bodies are executed in cast-iron with
lining in special antiwear moulded rubber, composed of rechangeable
shells adjustable from outside.The impeller is anticlogging
of open type composed of a steel core lined with special
antiabrasive compound. The seal group can be composed of
a simple/double mechanical seal or packing depending on the
nature of the liquid to be pumped and/or on the needs of
the Custoner. The fusion of the mounting is complete with
base-plate with holes to fix the pump to the ground floor.
Coupling thru trapezoidal belts and pulleys.
