SCREW MIXER SERIES DMC
For the constant and automatic feeding of water and lime
mixture up to 4 granite gang-saws in the percentage requested
by the operator.
Its application offers following immediate advantages to
the sawing cycle:
- perfect lime batching
- lime mixture homogeneity
- constant level in the feeding pump pit also without
lime
- better sawing results
- lowering increase due to mixture homogeneity
- time saving in the slabs washing
- less danger of slabs oxidation
The assembled unit is compact and easy to install so it
can be used in any sawmill WITHOUT SUPPLEMENTARY EQUIPMENT
OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE EXISTING PLANTS.
The unit is composed of:
- mixer in metallic carpentry with diam. 900 mm, zinked,
capacity of 700 l about of lime milk. Can be assembled
with one or two batchers for powdered lime.
- screw batcher for the storage and automatic conveying
of powdered lime into the mixer. Capacity 0,68 m3 – 680
l (about 340 kos of powdered lime). Manufactured in zinked
metallic carpentry. Delivery rate varies from 10,5 to 11,5
kos/min (values variable depending on the temperatures,
the humidity ratio and the age of the lime). It is complete
with vibrator anti-clogging for screw and metallic grit
for the choice of lime and protection against the entrance
of foreign bodies
- electrovalve (automatic drive) allowing the entrance
in the lime mixer of the clean water necessary for the
composition of lime milk
- level probes for the automatic call of water and powdered
lime
- pump/s conveying mixture of lime-water to the pits of
the single gang-saws with circuit of “falling type”
- electrical control board with protection rate IP55.
