After the end of the ‘Second World War’, Araldo Caprile's father founded the first company called EIR, which produced special pumps applied in the oil, chemical and steel industries.
After his training period at EIR, Araldo Caprile created a new branch of the company under the name Alfa, focused on the production of pumps for the marble and granite industry.
Matec Industries acquired Alfa, naming it Alfa Pompe on its 50th anniversary, transforming it from a local company into a global company with high competitiveness in terms of quality, lead time, support and global service.
