Tower

Rubber-tyred vertical axis pump with belt and pulley coupling

Special pumps designed to convey highly abrasive liquids, ideal for stone processing workshops and sawmills, aggregate treatment and washing, cement water recovery, and in the glass and ceramics industries.

The Tower pumps are vertical axis with sealed chamber bearings, designed to allow the shaft to work without supports immersed in the liquid. The bodies, divided into two halves, are coated with an anti-abrasive compound and fitted with easily replaceable and adjustable shells.

The impeller is of the open, anti-clogging type, made of a steel core coated with an anti-abrasive compound.

On request, an extension can be fitted between the suction unit and the lower body to increase the immersion height of the pump, avoiding contact between the liquid and the lower bearing or keeping the electric motor out of the tank. Coupling to the motor is by means of V-belts, so that the pump speed and performance can be varied to suit each specific working point.

AXIS: the vertical pump is fitted with bearings in a sealed chamber, designed to allow overhung operation without the need for submerged supports.

BODY: made of cast iron, the pump body is divided into two parts and coated with a wear-resistant compound. The anti-abrasive rubber shells are replaceable and adjustable for fast and efficient maintenance.

OUTPUT CURVE: fitted with an interchangeable rubber sleeve, it facilitates connection of the pump to the delivery pipe.

IMPELLER: the anti-clogging impeller is of the open type and consists of a steel core coated in a special anti-abrasive compound, improving the efficiency and durability of the Tower pump.

OPTIONAL: on request, an extension can be fitted between the suction pad and the lower body to increase the distance between the bearing and the liquid, keeping the motor outside the bowl.
