Rubberized vertical axis pump with direct coupling
The Discoverer pump is designed and engineered for conveying abrasive liquids from stone processing (workshops and sawmills), aggregate treatment/washing, cement water recovery and in the glass and ceramic processing sectors.
Vertical axis with sealed chamber bearings dimensioned in such a way as to allow the lower part of the shaft to work without supports immersed in the liquid.
This configuration does not require mechanical seals or stuffing boxes, thus reducing maintenance work and costs.
We recommend the use of an anti-abrasive rubber tube to be placed between the pump delivery bend and the fixed pipework of the system to act as a vibration damper and for ease of installation.
Since this type of pump is not self-priming, the liquid must always be above the body/impeller unit.

ASSE:Â pompa verticale con cuscinetti in camera stagna, progettata per funzionare a sbalzo senza supporti immersi.
CORPO: realizzato in ghisa e diviso in due parti, rivestito con una mescola antiusura. Gusci in gomma antiabrasiva sostituibili e regolabili per una manutenzione rapida.
CURVA DI MANDATA: dotata di manicotto in gomma intercambiabile per il collegamento della pompa al tubo di mandata.
GIRANTE: di tipo aperto e anti-intasamento, costituita da un’anima in acciaio rivestita con una speciale mescola antiabrasiva.
OPTIONAL: su richiesta, è possibile inserire una prolunga tra la succhiarola e il corpo inferiore per aumentare la distanza tra il cuscinetto e il liquido, mantenendo il motore fuori dalla vasca.
