Alfa Pompe stands out for its production, which is entirely carried out in its own factory. Each component is designed and manufactured with precision, guaranteeing high quality standards and maximum reliability. Study and Design
At the heart of our design process are Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, an advanced technology that allows detailed analysis of fluid behaviour inside pumps. These tests simulate parameters such as speed, pressure and turbulence, allowing us to identify inefficiencies, optimise design and ensure superior performance.
CFD simulations make it possible to create virtual models of the pumps in operation, simulating real operating conditions without having to build physical prototypes in the early stages of development.
Thanks to these technologies, Alfa Pompe is able to offer solutions that fully meet customer needs, ensuring high performance, long life and significant savings in operating costs.
Production of components
At Alfa Pompe, the production of components is entrusted to a team of specialised technicians and supported by advanced machinery, including lathes and numerically controlled equipment. The machining of components takes place directly in our factory, with the aim of ensuring that each part strictly meets the required specifications.
Every step, from material preparation to finishing, is carried out with precision, allowing us to obtain elements such as impellers, flanges and other critical components that are perfectly compatible with our pumps. The in-house management of this phase allows us not only to maintain direct control over quality, but also to intervene promptly on every detail, thus optimising production times and responding efficiently to any customisation needs.
Quality control
Quality control plays a central role in our production, ensuring that each pump meets our exacting standards and customer expectations. This is especially crucial for the horizontal-axis pumps used in the filter press loading, which are equipped with High Pressure Technology (HPT) and can operate at pressures of 8, 16 and up to 21 bar.
Attention to every detail allows us to quickly detect any defects or anomalies, intervening promptly to make the necessary corrections. Using precise instrumentation and advanced methodologies, we strive to ensure that every pump delivered is synonymous with reliability, safety and durability. For us, quality is not just an end result, but a constant that accompanies every stage of the production process.
Operational testing
Before delivery, each pump manufactured at Alfa Pompe undergoes a rigorous acceptance test, which verifies the correct functioning of the product and its resistance under various operating conditions. During this phase, each pump is put through its paces in situations simulating real use, testing parameters such as leakage, pressure and energy efficiency.
Testing is designed to confirm the complete reliability and safety of the finished product, ensuring that it is ready to meet customer requirements and maintain consistent performance over time. Our team pays special attention to passing each test, and only pumps that meet all requirements are authorised for delivery. In this way, each pump is certified as meeting our standards of excellence and ready for use.
