Dragon

Rubberized vertical axis pump for highly abrasive liquids

The Dragon vertical axis pump is designed to handle fluids that contain hard particles and abrasive materials. These fluids, typically found in industries such as mining, construction and ceramics, can cause significant wear and tear on standard equipment. The vertical pump offers a robust and durable solution with abrasion-resistant components to ensure long life and operational reliability.

Due to its vertical configuration, the pump takes up less space, facilitating integration into complex systems. It features an open impeller, made of chrome cast iron, which minimizes wear and improves efficiency. This pump is particularly suitable for conveying liquids, such as slurries, sands and suspended powders, ensuring consistent performance even under extremely harsh working conditions.

Its advanced design ensures low maintenance and continuous operation, making it a staple for the most demanding industrial applications.

AXIS: The vertical shaft is equipped with bearings in a sealed chamber, designed to allow the lower part of the shaft to operate cantilevered without supports submerged in liquid.

BODY: Made of cast iron, the pump body is divided into two parts and coated with a wear-resistant compound. The anti-abrasive rubber shells are replaceable and adjustable for quick and efficient maintenance.

OUTPUT CURVE: Equipped with an interchangeable rubber sleeve, it facilitates the connection of the pump to the discharge pipe.

IMPELLER: The anti-clogging impeller is open and metallic, improving efficiency and allowing the use of smaller motors with the same performance.

OPTIONAL: Upon request, an extension can be inserted between the sucker and the lower body to increase the distance between the bearing and the liquid, keeping the motor outside the bowl.
